What is web tool ? In English language teaching

 Hello friends!

Today I will give information of WHAT IS WEB TOOL? In English language teaching. This task given by Dr Dilip Barad sir as so start my view.

Web 2.0 Tools are online software programs that allow users to do a number of different things. They can be used to teach curriculum content, store data, create/edit video, edit photos, collaborate and so much more.

What's Web 2.0 and what does it have to offer? This document is intended as simple introduction to some free Web 2.0 type tools that can be used by teachers who are interested in using technology in language teaching. The tools presented here are just the tip of the iceberg and this should not be considered in anyway conclusive or even the 'best of' Web 2.0 tools.

The Web 2.0 framework specifies only the design and use of websites and does not place any technical demands or specifications on designers. The transition was gradual and, therefore, no precise date for when this change happened has been given.

A Web 2.0 website allows users to interact and collaborate with each other through social media dialogue as creators of user-generated content in a virtual community. This contrasts the first generation of Web 1.0-era websites where people were limited to viewing content in a passive manner.

There are some of the tool which we useing in English language teaching.

1) social networking sites and social media sites. (Facebook)

2) blogs

3) wikis

5) video sharing sites (e.g., YouTube), image sharing sites (Flickr)
