August: A Month of Patriotism
Hello friends!
August is the month of revolution Kranti. August is the month of the religious festival. Owing to the Independence day 15th of August, There is euphoria of patriotism during this time of the year.August is the month where in Indian celebrate several important religious festivals. It also is the pious month of Shravan along with festival like, raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, pateti, bakri-Id, Molakat, Gauri vrat, Divaso, Deep puja, and many more common festival days like ekadashi etc.
# Indian Short Films:
(1) In defence of freedom: A film by Nandita Das
Actor : Saadat Hasan Manto - played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui
This story about defence of freedom by Nandita Das.In this short film Saadat Hasan Manto talks about writing a fair and current situation. Manto write about prostitution and connected with it, is not wrong. In this video Manto says that,
मैं तो सिर्फ इतना ही जानता हूं कि,
मेरी कहानियां सिर्फ एक आईना है जिसमें समाज अपने आप को देख सके और अगर किसी बुरी सूरत वाले को आने से ही शिकायत हो तो इसमें मेरा क्या कसूर है।
He says that reality or our society. Seldom past remembering example of the Soviet union. Which was made by reservation ticket million people and letter wear a part in a counter revolution without much fighting.
(3) Country vs Nation-State: देश बनाम राष्ट्र : भगवत रावत : Bhagwat Rawat
The nation is a term of culture and political. Where as country is a term of the geographical and the political. What are different word but normally people do mistake in understanding. Both these words are often used interchangeably is there se to be a synonym of one in another. The close insight into both these words tells that they are quite different, especially regarding the usege. The country refers to the particular area, region or the territory that is controlled by its government but the nation refers to the large body of the people, which are United by culture, common descent, and the history. Here I put one poem "देश एक राग है" by Bhagwat Ravat.

(2) The Bloody line - A Film By Ram Madhavani
This short film "The Bloody line " by Ram Madhavani. This poem based on "Partition" by W.H. Auden on the man who drew a line to divide between two country India and Pakistan.
